MAKING A MASK STATION
Making masks in a great start, but you'll also need to make getting them easy and intuitive. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, but it’s essential to have a way for people to find your masks, find the answers to questions they might have, and leave donations (if they wish).

In my experience, not having these things makes your life a lot more complicated because you'll find yourself addressing each problem or question individually.

My mask station is pictured to the right. It has "MASKS" signs that you can easily see from the road, a metallic board I use for signs and donations, and a mailbox full of masks. I use fridge magnets to keep the signs on the board and a fridge magnet clip for the donation bag. I also keep hand sanitizer on the board by taping a magnet to it. That’s all there is to it!

STATION INFORMATION
Below are some materials I developed in response to how people were using my station. Feel free to use any of them!

I made them with a free program online called Canva. It makes designing easy and I highly suggest it if you want to make your own signs.

I ended up with a cat theme because, well, I thought the cat was cute. I was also able to add a cape and a mask to the little buddy, as well as adjust the color a bit for versatility.

THE MASK-OTS
I chose these little critters to be my mask-ots (har-har, sorry). They came as free graphics with the program I was using. I added masks, capes, and changed some colors, so that I can use them for different kinds of signs and keep things looking fresh but cohesive.
SIGNS FOR THE ACTUAL BOX
I separate the masks into two size categories so that it is easier for people to choose what they need. These labels are taped inside the large ziplock bags that hold the individually packaged masks, sorted by size. From time to time, we also have ear savers, so I have a label for them as well. (Ear savers tie the masks behind your head instead of behind your ears.)
I tape these cards on the top of my mailbox. They give quick info for people who didn't pause at the board.
This is the most important sign. We have them printed big enough to see from the road. This is how people find you!
SIGNS FOR YOUR BOARD
Mix and Match as you see fit. I like to rotate from time to time to keep things interesting.
